Frankfurt is Germany’s fifth-largest city and is considered to be its most international city and its only global financial hub. It is the home of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and boasts the highest job density in the country. Frankfurt is also at the heart of the Rhine-Main area, which is home to approximately 5.8 million people and which is characterized by high purchasing power and low unemployment rates. According to the city of Frankfurt, 365,000 businesses with a total of 2.5 million employees are based in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region, jointly generating an annual gross domestic product of around 193 billion euros. According to the GfK market research institute, the region’s retail sales amounted to approximately 3.93 billion euros in 2010.

MSC 05 is located on Borsigallee, a major four-lane road in Frankfurt, on a site measuring 10,777 square meters. The “Hessen-Center” shopping mall and a new consumer electronics store are in the direct vicinity. The area was originally dominated by industry, but is currently being transformed into an office space and retail district with appropriately high traffic. The site has an average daily traffic volume of 24,500 vehicles.

There are residential and commercial properties nearby in a ratio of 30:70. The Multi Service Center can be said to have excellent visibility, with some 180,000 residents within a radius of approximately four kilometers and a large number of inbound commuters. The site has building permission for further expansion, if required.
